Other Exam determines 20% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • written test with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 80% of the final mark. This is a mid-term test.

Note: written test : multiple choice questions, open questions and yes/no questions

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • summarizing medical literature with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 20% of the final mark.

Note: summarizing and explaining research papers

Additional info regarding evaluation

The multiple-choice questions will be graded using positive scoring with a Higher Cutoff. Therefore, no points will be deducted for incorrect answers. However, points earned through guessing will be factored into the final score by raising the passing threshold (cutoff). The exam strategy with this method is simple: do your best on the entire exam, guess to the best of your ability on questions you don't know or only partially know, without worrying about potential point deductions.

Transfer of partial credits to the second examination period is not possible.

Partial credits cannot be transferred to the next academic year.

For the entire duration of the exam, backpacks, coats, mobile phones and other electronics (including smart watches) must either be placed in the front of the auditorium or left in the cloakroom. If a student is caught in possession of these objects during the exam, Article 118 of the OER will be applied.
