Course Content

Study of clinically oriented and scientific evidence based care for syndromes that are dealt with during internships and relate to the final objectives as defined under “physician” level expert plus.  

The ASO is to operate with increasing autonomy and complexity in a scientifically founded way.

WORKING METHODS 

  • The ASO pays attention to evidence-based medicine during consultations, during the presentation of problems encountered in practice and in the operating theatre, in consultation with the training supervisor 

  • Problems during consultations will be dealt with in patient discussions with special attention to clinical decision-making, evidence and epidemiology  

  • Education sessions in the morning 

  • Complication discussions 

  • Patient discussions

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
Other Exam determines 50% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Mondeling examen with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

  • Portfolio with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.
