Through project-based learning, this course unit aims to provide a framework in which students can have a practical application and in-depth reflection on theoretical concepts concerning Translation Studies as well as multilingual and intercultural communication, which are keystones of the study programme. It also provides a framework in which students and Brussels-based CSOs can join forces to tackle specific (metropolitan) challenges and develop good practices in intercultural communication.

OBJECTIVES:
The student strengthens his multilingual background, theoretical knowledge and intercultural skills by participating in this project-based learning in the form of participatory action research.
The student is able to convert the above mentioned skills to forms of social commitment on campus, in Brussel and other places.
The students develop their soft skills and professional skills.
