This course requires a good knowledge of the musculoskeletal anatomy in order to be able to study the anatomy with a perspective of more details, inclusive of variations and anomalies of muscular insertions, bony connections and neural plexi. Using interactive co-studying and pear-teaching the link between anatomical localisations and clinical situations will be studied based on mechanistic reasoning.
Based on a good basic knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy this course intends to deepen this knowledge and to link this knowledge to clinical situations within the musculoskeletal field; blended learning techniques, including pear-teaching and interactive for a will be applied in this course to stimulate active and participating learning.
The student has a profound knowledge of the 3-D human musculoskeletal anatomy, understanding anatomical variation, variants and anomalies with specific relevance for manual therapy techniques
De student is able to link anatomical structures to his knowledge and experience from clinical practice in the field of MSK-problems and – rehabilitation
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 100% of the final mark.
Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:
Exam: written exam with optional additional oral explanation: the exam intends to estimate knowledge and comprehension of arthrokinematics principles and methods, as well as concerning specific arthrokinematics mechanisms of bone-connections
The open questions may as well concern the guest lectures as the additional tasks
