Learning Outcomes

General competencies

The objective of the course is the teaching of basic concepts of data analysis.  The emphasis of the course is on definitions, techniques, and the selection of an appropriate method of data analysis.  Mathematical proofs are not discussed.  Each of the methods is extensively illustrated with practical examples.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 80% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 20% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Schriftelijk open boek examen with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 80% of the final mark.

Within the PRAC Practical Assignment category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • werkopdracht SPSS with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 20% of the final mark.
