- Course Content
- In the theoretical part we study sampling (in time- and frequency domain) and windowing, the discrete Fourier transform and convolution, and show how to design and implement digital filters and spectrum analysers. In the practical part we aim at developing a feeling for a number of basic techniques, such as sampling, windowing, etc.... To achieve this, we perform simulation experiments using the Matlab software package on PC.

Students should know and understand the basic theoretic concepts and be prepared for practical use of digital signal processing. The material described in the theoretical part and it's use constitute the exam requirements.
