1. Evaluation Clinical Skills and Internships II
The endpoint for Clinical Skills and Internships II consists of a weighted average of the point for continuous assessment, internships and the Skills Education and Communication exam. You must pass each of those parts (get at least 50%) before the weighted average is made. If you fail for one of those components, your final grade for the subject Clinical Skills and Internships II will be equal to the lowest grade obtained.
• Permanent evaluation (20%) There is a separate continuous assessment for the skills education, communication and Medical French component, whereby each point is awarded a point out of 20 after all lessons have been completed. You have to pass each of those separate parts (get at least 50%) before the average is made. If you fail one of those permanent evaluations, your final grade for the permanent evaluation will be equal to the lowest grade obtained. You must have passed the continuous assessment to be allowed to participate in the exam of Clinical Skills and Internships II in both the 1st and 2nd examination period. If a student has not passed the permanent evaluation, this will be communicated to the student personally before the start of the examination period.
Continuous assessment of skills education: There is a compulsory attendance for the course Clinical Skills and Internships II and these attendances are mandatory from the first organized WPO regardless of the time of registration for the course unit. An unauthorized absence will result in a 0/20 for the permanent evaluation. A maximum of 3 different topics may be missed if it concerns a legitimate absence in order to pass the permanent evaluation. If more topics are missed, this will lead to a 0/20 for the permanent evaluation. Any absence must be notified in good time to skillslab@vub.be, the faculty secretariat and the lecturers involved (for more information about who should be notified, you can consult the materials on Canvas).

• Skills education and communication exam (60%)

If you fail for one of the stations, your final grade for the exam will be equal to the lowest grade obtained. Each station individually can have its own conditions to succeed. • Internships (20%)
At the end of the GP internship, a point out of 20 is given based on the internship and the portfolio. At the end of the internship, a point out of 20 is given based on the completed internship and the portfolio, including the reflection report.
