Learning Outcomes

General competencies

The purpose of the course is:

-to explain basic principles of diagnostic use of radioactive compounds

-to gain expertise about physico-chemical aspects,synthesis,quality

control and

applications of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic use



-to elucidate the pharmacokinetics of radiopharmaceuticals

-to cover the use of image enhancers used in radiology,magnetic

resonance

imaging and echography

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Mondeling examen with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

    Note: Mondeling examen met theoretische en toegepaste vragen aangaande de bereiding, de analyse en het gebruik van radiofarmaca en de eigenschappen en toepassingen van contrastverhogende stoffen
