  • Annelida
  • Arthropoda
  • Mollusca
  • Echinodermata
  • Tunicata

The course covers also their diversity in form, function and behavior. During the classes, classification, morphology, phylogenetic relationships and ecology will be discussed.

The practical part aims to transfer the theoretical knowledge into practical competence. The student will learn identification techniques and to make drawings of invertebrate morphology and anatomy.

Two excursions are planned: on to the Zoniën forest and one to the North Sea with a research vessel.
