Learning Outcomes

General competences

Obtaining an overview of the history and the different application areas of the field of nanotechnology and the related lab-on-a-chip field. Being able to critically assess the technological potential of novel micro- and nano-technology applications.  Being able to conceive a novel nanotech- or microtech-application in the field of biotechnology, chemistry or medicine and proposing a feasible development route for it.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
LEC Presentation determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the LEC Presentation category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Oral group presentation with a relative weight of 20 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
