Course Content

Introduction in health economics. Role of health economic evaluation in health policy. Current problems with health economic evaluations. Economic advantages of body movement and sport. Economic disadvantages of body movement and sport. Management of fitness and sport centres.

Function of meta-analyses in health economics, interpretation and calculation of a meta-analysis in the domain of physical activity, fitness and health.

Workbook: Financial analysis of a Fitness Centre via data of the National Bank.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
PRAC Teamwork determines 50% of the final mark.
