The following aspects need to be addressed in the written seminar work:

  • Evaluation of the own "elite sport and study" career from a holistic developmental perspective

  • Evaluation of the dual career "elite sport and study" support received (e.g. from the dpt. Topsport en Studie, Sport Vlaanderen, the own sport federation)

  • Clearly defined vision for the future (short, medium and long-term objectives) from a holistic perspective: sporting, academic/vocational, psychological, psychosocial, financial goals.

  • Developing a potential plan for the post-athletic career

Scientifically correct referencing throughout the seminar work is a requirement. The APA 6th reference style should be used. The student is required to make a link in all parts of the seminar work to (i) the study material of other courses, (ii) self-searched scientific literature, and (iii) the online tools / exercises that are available via Canvas. All Canvas tools need to be integrated into the seminar work. The student is free to choose in which parts of the seminar work they will be integrated.
