Course Content

Clinical internships of manual therapy are supervised by tutors, recognised by the direction of the education program. In six successive periods of about 30 hours each, the students make progress in active clinical practice of manual therapy.

Additional info

A workbook, based on a portfolio-system, contains information and guidelines with respect of the clinical internships. Information about addresses and assessment criteria of the clinical internships can be found in the workbook, and is also available via the e-learning management system. Part of the portfolio is filled in by the students: administrative elements,  location, types of clinical internships and other details related to the different clinical internship periods, case reports and referring letters.
The tutors of the clinical internships provide a detailed evaluation of the clinical internship period under their supervision.
After 3 clinical internships periods, the portfolio can be presented to the course coordinator or one of his collaborators in view of a intermittent evaluation and advise. This evaluation is preparative in view of the following clinical internships periods. Eventually, a re-orientation of the clinical internship is recommended.
