Course Content

The historical background is essential for understanding the cultural and identifying aspects. Spain and Hispanic America History will be presented in parallel in order discuss some general topics (for ex. the pre-Columbian America, Conquest and Colonization, the Independence of Latin America, the Caudillos, the Spanish Civil War).

For the exercises (WPO), some cultural and/or political aspects (both historical and current) will be worked on through the arts.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 70% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 30% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Written examination with a relative weight of 70 which comprises 70% of the final mark.

Within the PRAC Practical Assignment category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Active partic. and assignments with a relative weight of 30 which comprises 30% of the final mark.
