After finishing this course, the student should:
1. have an overview on the world’s industrial and small scale fisheries, as well as associated environmental problems and attempts to manage these fisheries
2. have gained practical experience with models used in fisheries research and the application of molecular genetic tools (e.g. species identification)
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 70% of the final mark.
Written Exam determines 30% of the final mark.
