Course Content

In this course national and international speakers will be invited to teach specific topics

within their expertise. The students learn how to integrate this scientific knowledge and

the knowledge they have already acquired in to daily practice.

Learning Outcomes

General competencies

The student acquires knowledge on the different aspects and innovation relevant in the field of sports physiotherapy and sports injuries.

The student is able to use this knowledge to elaborate or innovate in the domain of sports physiotherapy and sports injuries and translate this to his future working situation.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • mondelinge presentatie with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

Additional info regarding evaluation

During the academic year, the student prepares an assignment in group on one of the topics of a guest lecturer in group, based on scientific literature and the clinical application. During the oral exam the assignment is discussed and evaluated.

The way of examining in 1st and 2nd period will be identical.

Allowed unsatisfactory mark
The supplementary Teaching and Examination Regulations of your faculty stipulate whether an allowed unsatisfactory mark for this programme unit is permitted.
