Learning Outcomes

General competencies

Students should be able to characterize Italian literary texts from a content-thematic, stylistic, rhetorical, metric, narratological and intermedial perspective. They can situate these texts in the whole of the author’s literary career or in the movement to which they belong, including through independent reading of some fundamental critical studies and through the assignments.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
Practical Exam determines 50% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Mondeling examen with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

Within the Practical Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Oefeningen (paper) with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

The first drafts of the exercises will be evaluated during the semester.

Students have to succeed in all parts of the evaluation procedure in order to obtain a pass mark for the whole course.
