Aanbieding 1 met studiegidsnummer 4016487ENR voor alle studenten in het 2e semester met een verdiepend master niveau.
Choice of subject: a list of subjects on multi-functional materials (metals, ceramics, polymers) is provided to the students in advance. Each student provides a list of 3 subjects (ranked by interest). From these desiderata, the coordinators will designate the groups. The students elaborate the project together with PhD and postdoc students of the materials research groups.
Organization:
‐ individual projects or groups of max 3 students (mixed origin, ULB, VUB, international) designated by the coordinators
Structure of the project:
‐ must include an experimental part, should not be purely simulation
‐ must include a literature survey that is synthesized in the written report
Gathering original results on actual topics in material's research. Developing critical evaluation of results, written and oral reporting. Scientific discussion of results. Team work, preparation for master thesis.
