The role of chemistry in the food, drug and agrochemical industries is discussed. Emphasis is not only placed on scientific issues but also on socio-economical issues and the positive role of chemistry in human development.

Seminars presented by different members of the lab and external colleagues.

Seminars by the students on a subject chosen by them from a list proposed by the tecahing staff. These presentations must allow a subsequent debate. (this will be discussed in detail at our first meeting)

Student participation to all seminars is compulsory.

How to contact us

Questions can be answered during the break or after classes.  The practicals are a privileged moment for discussions.  It is also possible to make an appointment with the teaching staff to ask further questions.
