The role of chemistry in the food, drug and agrochemical industries is discussed. Emphasis is not only placed on scientific issues but also on socio-economical issues and the positive role of chemistry in human development.

Seminars presented by different members of the lab and external colleagues.

Seminars by the students on a subject chosen by them from a list proposed by the tecahing staff. These presentations must allow a subsequent debate. (this will be discussed in detail at our first meeting)

Student participation to all seminars is compulsory.
