each year the course uses an introductory handbook in the sociology of health. Key information on this book will be communicated at the beginning of the course on the e-learning platform (pointcarré).

Knowing the contribution of key sociological authors
developing insight in the evolution of the sociological approaches to medical and health issues

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 60% of the final mark.
Other Exam determines 40% of the final mark.

Anonymised written examination: 60% on the lecture and 40% on the applications.
The final result is calculated as the weighted average of both parts, unless a result of 7/20 or lower is obtained on one of the parts. In that case, the final result equals the lowest partial result.
