Students carry out a range of speaking exercises (including paraphrasing, sight translation, summarizing, consecutive interpreting, public speaking) and gradually hone their oral proficiency in general, as well as their interpreting skills in particular. They are introduced to note-taking techniques for interpreters as well as a variety of professional interpreting contexts.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
