Additional info regarding evaluation

The assessment is performed by the supervisor (written assessment) en the lecturer (written assessment, oral presentation and defence).

First examination period
- Submit your systematic review and protocol of your master thesis together with the assessment of your supervisor. The format is clarified during the lessons and can be found on Canvas.
During the first examination period the student presents his/her systematic review and protocol in an oral communication using a powerpoint-presentation of maximum 10 minutes. The lecturer evaluates the presentation, the systematic review and the research protocol.

Second examination period
For the second session all manuscripts concerning first examination period must be submitted together with the assessments of the promoter. The student presents the systematic review and the protocol in an oral communication of max 10 minutes (with powerpoints). The lecturer evaluates the manuscripts and the presentation. If the student submits a revised version of a manuscript that has been submitted in the first examination session, this must be accompanied by a point-to-point description and motivation of the changes applied.

Remark: in order to obtain sufficient credits for this course the student needs to obtain a sufficient score on the systematic review (total score lecturer + score supervisor >= 10/20) and on the protocol (total score lecturer + score supervisor >= 10/20) separately.
