Learning Outcomes

General Competences

After following this course, students will be able to deal with all practical aspects of export and import: transport, customs, insurance, finance, distribution and payment techniques…

International trade also involves legal aspects, like customs (formalities and forms), VAT and deliveries outside the EU. As both issues are very complicated, they became the core business of some specialised law firms and consulting companies. Therefore, it is not the intention that graduates will become experts in these fields. The course aims at offering the students a basic knowledge and understanding of the legal fields that are important for any future international trade. Graduates will be aware of which legal aspects they have to deal with in case of export or import.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Written Exam with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
