General Competences

This course aims at giving the student a thorough understanding of Chinese competition policy (especially Chinese anti-monopoly law). It starts with introducing some basic principles of competition law and policy, and then the focus will be on the case of China, in particular:

  • how Chinese competition law and policy influences the global economy
  • how anti-competitive cases be dealt with in China
  • how Chinese competition policy interwines with Chinese economic restructuring
  • how to undertake competition compliance in China
