Course Content

The work is done by a group of students (varying between 4 and 8 students) selected after an interview made by the Eco-Marathon teams and the titular. Their task is to work on the design, manufacturing and testing of a typical “Eco-Marathon competition” (light) vehicle including all aspects of the problem from technical to certification and also the European competition related aspects. The vehicle will normally be an all-electric vehicle using batteries or another electric propulsion solution..

Integrate design and manufacturing aspects (including CAD) for a light (electric) car at a system level

Definition and realisation of a test campaign for a complex design problem

Team work and management of a large number of constraints related to regulation and competition

Strategy to be able to integrate one of the European races taking place each year

Time management and scheduling for a multi-tasks project.
