This course covers the following topics:
• Positioning of primary psychological care
• Models and perspectives on primary psychological care with specific attention to the KOP model
• Assessment and indication within Primary care psychology
• Implementation of interventions within primary care psychology based on transdiagnostic factors
• Capita selecta: working with groups, culturally sensitive care, and e-mental health within primary psychological care
Teaching methods:
- Lecture: 26 hours (13 x 2 hours) working students are provided with lesson recordings and online Q&A
- SELF: group assignment
The student has knowledge and understanding of:
• The framework and key models in primary care psychology
• Transdiagnostic factors relevant to primary care psychology
• Short-term interventions in primary care psychology
• Working with groups, culturally sensitive care, and e-mental health within primary psychological care
• And can apply this knowledge, for example, through a case study.
The student can demonstrate the competency-based skills covered in the course.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 70% of the final mark.
SELF Teamwork determines 30% of the final mark.

To pass this course component, the student must participate in all parts of the evaluation (1. Written exam and 2. Group video assignment). If the student fails to meet the deadline for submitting the group assignment, this will result in an "absent" grade for this component as well as an "absent" final grade. If the student does not participate in the exam, this will result in an "absent" grade for this component as well as an "absent" final grade.
If the student fails one or both components (less than 50/100, not rounded), the final grade will be the lowest partial grade, always rounded down.
If you achieve at least 50% in the first exam session for one of the course components (written exam or group work), the partial grade for that component will be carried over to the second exam session. It is not possible to waive this partial grade.
It is not possible to carry over a partial grade to the next academic year.
For the exam video, the second exam session will require the creation of an entirely new exam video.
