Course Content

The course provides a thematic and chronological overview of the development of historiography from antiquity through the contemporary period. The central question is how the study of the past has developed over time. The history of historical awareness and historiography will be approached by comparing historiographical traditions in different parts of the world.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:
