Course Content

This course offers an introduction to poetry in English. It introduces students to a number of basic tools and techniques for poetic analysis and draws on a wide range of examples from the Anglophone canon. Students practice their analytical skills and gain an insight into the variety and development of poetry in English.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Oral exam with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
