General competencies

The student can perform a critical reading and analysis of a number of relevant Hispanic literary texts autonomously.

The student is able to make a critical selection from the sources found.

The student is able to develop a research question.

The student can carry out a research and present it orally and in writing.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 70% of the final mark.
Other Exam determines 30% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Written Paper with a relative weight of 70 which comprises 70% of the final mark.

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Oral present. + Written Paper with a relative weight of 30 which comprises 30% of the final mark.

Additional info regarding evaluation

Preparatory work (written paper + oral presentation) 30%; Final paper 70%.

Partial grades of the “Preparatory work” cannot be transferred to a later exam session.
