The Bachelor paper is thematically linked to one (or several) of the BA1, BA2 or BA3 course modules. It contains the following elements:
Supervision: by appointment or via email.
The bachelor paper offers the student an opportunity to demonstrate that he or she has acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle a subject in Applied Linguistics in a scientific and critical manner, under supervision. The bachelor paper should also demonstrate an awareness of recent developments in the field studied, as well as provide evidence that the student is able to produce a scientific text in accordance with academic style and conventions.
The successful student
can apply the knowledge and understanding he/she has gained in Applied Linguistics when tackling a subject in the field.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
