Course Content

Students are introduced into the principles and practice of writing journalistic texts. Journalism is a craft. Learning a craft requires exercises in writing and rewriting. This course focuses on spelling, sentence structure and word usage, attractive writing (variation in sentence structure and sentence type), and appropriate texts and paragraph structures (sections, headings, subheadings, and points of view).

"What is news?" Students get introductive insights and exercises to tackle that question.
