Hiernaast is de student ingeschreven op de studiedelen “Criminologie en victimologie” en “Criminologie en victimologie: werkcollege”. Sociological - criminological study of crime and crime control in late modern context.
Focus on topics such as migration, urbanization, race and ethnicity, radicalisation and social inequality in the study of crime and penality.

Aim of the course :
- Knowledge and insight into the sociological way of thinking on crime and crime control.
- Knowledge and insight into the main social and cultural developments in late modern society and being able to relate evolutions in crime and crime control to these sociale evolutions.
- Being able to analyse questions on crime and crime control from a sociological - criminological point of view.
