- Course Content
In this course, we study the emergence of crime in society. We start from the observation that we cannot understand crime in terms of individual motives, rational choice theory or individual psychopathology. We study phenomena such as organized crime, terrorism, cybercrime and collective violence and show how these phenomena are integral to the societies in which they emerge.
