Je hebt ‘Taal- en vertaalpraktijk Spaans-Nederlands  II’ gevolgd, alvorens dit vak op te nemen.​ Dit vak opnemen houdt verder in dat je gelijktijdig ‘Lengua española: lengua y cultura’ volgt of reeds geslaagd bent voor 'Lengua española: lengua y cultura’.​ Zit je in een verkort traject dan kan je dit vak gewoon opnemen.

Course Content

Students translate texts on various topical and/or cultural subjects from Spanish into Dutch. Each type of text has its own specific properties. Students learn to use the internet effectively to produce accurate and idiomatic translations. They justify their translation choices on the basis of reliable sources, parallel texts, contexts or definitions. Students also learn to critically assess and edit (machine) translations.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Other Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Permanente Evaluatie with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
