Inhoud

The course is designed to study the basic principles of management, including the functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. In addition to a critical analysis of the key concepts and theories of management, the course will cover a range of contemporary subjects such as ethics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and global business. Short cases, applications, and guest lectures will supplement the theory, so students learn to apply theories and concepts to a more practical setting of everyday business life. The range of social, ecological and ethical aspects of sustainability represent a common theme throughout the Management course. Students also learn to take a holististic approach to understanding management practices in a changing context.
