The course on European Union Decision-making and Law provides an overview of the different decision-making procedures of the EU and of its legal order. In this course, we will thus examine the structure and general principles of the EU legal order; the different instruments and procedures in terms of EU law-making; the evolution, nature and adoption of the EU's budget; the EU's economic governance; the different aspects and decision-making procedures of EU foreign policy; as well as the instruments allowing for differentiation within the EU.

Each of the six modules comprises a lecture and reading materials. The students are given two weeks to finalise each module. Two separate assignments, counting in total for 50% of the final grade, will take place during this six modules. Upon the end of the six modules, the students take a final oral exam that counts for the remaining 50%. The final exam takes place online.
