Course Content

In the hospital, the doctor-specialist enters a complex environment and fulfils a central position in the multi-disciplinary system. The course unit focuses on preparing the doctor for this. As such, he can take his place and play an actively participating role in improving the care quality. Content wise, the following subject will be touched upon:

Structure of the hospital, basic concepts of the care organization, liability aspects, accountability, reflection on one’s own actions and self-management

Methodology of quality policy and change management

Models and methods of interdisciplinary and transmural cooperation

Leadership and management techniques

Methods of capacity management
