The ASO is further instructed in a broad array of domains within the specialism, necessary for the application in practice that are mentioned during internships and relate to the final objectives as defined under “physician” level expert plus.

WORKING METHODS 

  • Bedside teaching 

  • Interactive seminars: 1h/week (also 1h each time for guiding Master’s students) 

  • MOC: 1x/week (2h of multidisciplinary oncological consult) 

  • Evening seminar: 1x/month, 2h (1x/year, 25h for own session) + 1h/week General Internal Medical session 

  • Weekly room tour: 2h/week 

  • Daily debriefing: 1h/day 

  • Interuniversity postgraduate, organization is ongoing; 6 courses per year (whole day: 6h); forms the basis for the oral final examination in 6th year (125h at the end, level expert plus)
