Course Content

This course comprises the workplace-learning:  

The internist acquires specialist knowledge in the field of diagnosis, therapy and prognosis in the most common clinical images within Internal Medicine. The diagnostic policy is effective and efficient. Within the context of patients, the internist formulates advice on problems concerning the treatment, the lifestyle, non-pharmaceutical therapy and prognosis. The internist adequately reports both orally and written. The internist reflects on personal competences and works on quality improvement in practicing his/her profession by keeping a portfolio with self-reflection.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Portfolio with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

    Tool ‘KKB – Korte Klinische Beoordeling’ in Medbook 1/stageperiode

    Functioneringsgesprek tijdens en na elke stageperiode (met de lokale stagemeester of supervisor)

    Evaluatiegesprek aan het einde van het vijfde opleidingsjaar (met PASS/FAIL) met de coördinerende stagemeester voor het behalen van het Opleidingsonderdeel (100 %)
