Course Content

The ASO enhances the broadening of and develops scientific knowledge within the own field. 

The ASO processes own scientific findings and explicates their relevance towards the clinical practice (publication, guideline development) 

The ASO contributes to quality improvement in neurology: he/she refers to scientific articles and critically evaluates the literature and contributes to quality improvement in the own field.

WORKING METHODS 

  • Critically assess scientific publications, partly integrated in the theme-bound cursory education (1 theme per 2 months) 

  • Participate as a member of 1 of the research groups of the department (cerebrovascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases) 

  • Active and passive participation in national (VVN, BVN) and international symposia in accordance with supervisor 

  • Write (continue) a scientific article under guidance (possibly started in part 1)
