Acute interventions
The ASO will learn to communicate in a multidisciplinary environment on discipline-bound topics:
Empathic attitude towards patients and their family
Informed consent towards the patient and their family regarding the treatment, check to what extent the provided information is understood.
Communication and knowledge on specific aspects of patient rights and legislation concerning unwilling patients.
The ASO is to operate with increasing autonomy and complexity.
WORKING METHODS
Staff- and management meetings within the department
Exercises in practice (draft reports; conversate with colleagues, technicians, scientists, students…)
Give presentations during seminars and research meetings
Self-study in daily practice
OLR 16: Knows the principles of medical informatics for delivering optimal patient care and maintaining own expertise (M).

Other Exam determines 100% of the final mark.
