Course Content

Working on one's medical knowledge, while particularly paying attention to hospital medicine.


One needs to attend 6 hours of COMPULSORY sessions. These 6 hours of sessions will cover the following topics:
• Infosessie MSG
• Infosessie Medbook 
• Werkplekleren
• Train the Trainer


In addition, one has to attend 34 hours of  sessions, which one needs to choose out of a list of options. This optional package can still change during the academic year. The range of sessions during the current academic year will be made available via the online learning platform Canvas.

For certain topics it is possible to watch a video recording of the session. You will then be able to answer questions regarding the content of that session. This provides an opportunity to acquire an 'attendance' for the online viewed session. Working methods


The sessions are being organised in the form of lectures (some on campus and some online), the ASO needs to attend 34 hours of sessions from the selection list and 6 hours of compulsory sessions. The following topics are covered in the compulsory sessions:

• Train the Trainer


One must complete the total number of 40 hours of sessions within the "Expert" level. Depending on the specialism, one has 2 to 3 years to complete the course Capita Selecta.
