Eindcompetenties

Students have a thorough understanding of both themes discussed, register and genre respectively. They can reflect on these concepts, and apply those insights to case studies, based on readings from the literature.
Students can independently consult the academic literature on the topics under discussion. Moreover, they can reflect on their independent readings, and report on their own study both orally and in writing.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 30% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 70% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Examen schriftelijk with a relative weight of 30 which comprises 30% of the final mark.

    Note: Other EXM with a relative weight of 6 which comprises 30% of the final mark. Note: Written exam in January

Within the PRAC Practical Assignment category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Assignments with a relative weight of 70 which comprises 70% of the final mark.

    Note: Assignments with a relative weight of 10 which comprises 50% of the final mark. Note: fieldwork in groups resulting in written an oral reports.
