This course should familiarise students with a variety of practical pharmacotherapeutic aspects of their future profession. The focus wil be on pharmaceutical care and the new role a pharmacist has to play in society.

At the end of this course the student should be able to:
* know and understand what is meant by Pharmaceutical Care and how to realise this in practice.
* inform patients about appropriate drug use, both at the first and subsequent delivery moment.
* judge the clinical relevance of interactions and resolve them.
* apply the pharmacotherapeutical guidelines in pharmacy practice.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

The exam will be oral with written preparation. A minimum score of 10/20 is needed to pass this exam.
