This course should familiarise students with a variety of practical pharmacotherapeutic aspects of their future profession. The focus wil be on pharmaceutical care and the new role a pharmacist has to play in society.

3. Practical interpretation of clinical lab results
The course consists of 30 hours of lectures.

At the end of this course and with regard to the following unique learning outcomes, the student should be able to:
* know and understand what is meant by Pharmaceutical Care and how to realise this in practice including the pharmaceutical care services.
* inform patients about appropriate drug use, both at the first and subsequent delivery moment(s).
* apply the pharmacotherapeutical guidelines in pharmacy practice to ensure safe and rational pharmacotherapy.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.
Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:
Oral exam with written preparation. A minimum score of 10/20 is needed to pass this exam.
