Project Management in the construction industry requires multidisciplinary competencies ranging from technical to management and financial skills. Human ressource management, safety & health and environmental issues are also necessary to become a professional Project Manager.

Following aspects are introduced : types of projects, tendering procedures, pricing methods, project preparation phase, conducting and managing the construction process, planning techniques, financial allocation methods.

The project is seen as an integrated process with planning, designing and constructing the project. Delivery phase is also an important topic before entering in the life cycle of the project.

New procedures are presented like : PFI, PPP, concession or DBFM tendering systems.
