Before the start of the Master thesis and in any case before 15 October, the student must submit the 'Master thesis agreement' signed by the student and supervisor to the Master thesis coordinator. Students who go on an Erasmus exchange must announce their Master thesis topic before 1 January. The Master Thesis coordinator submits the Master Thesis topics for approval to the Education Council of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Submiting the Master Thesis

- For the 1st examination period: no later than 25 May, 4 pm. If 25 May falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline will be moved to the next working day, 4 pm, unless otherwise communicated;

- For the 2nd examination period: the first day of the exam period in August, 4 pm, unless stated otherwise;

- If the student intends to graduate in January (only possible if one or more exams still have to be taken for course units of the first semester of the relevant graduation year), the student must submit a written request to the student secretariat of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy no later than 1 November. In this case, the Master thesis documents must be submitted at the latest on the first day of the exam period in January, before 4 pm, unless stated otherwise.

- to dispose of a general critical-reflecting research attitude.
