Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Portfolio with a relative weight of 25 which comprises 25% of the final mark.

Additional info regarding evaluation

The grade of the professional internship is a weighted average of the following assessments:

1/ assessment of the actual internship: a grade is awarded by the supervisor for daily work, and based on the knowledge/competences expected of a starting Master in Drug Development.

Partial grade less than or equal to 9/20 => the internship has to be retaken during the next academic year; for this assessment by the supervisor, no resit is possible during the same academic year.

2/ assessment internship communication:

- a grade is awarded by the jury and/or the lecturer of 'Line project: introduction to pharmaceutical practice' for the presentation given to, and the interaction with, the 3rd Bachelor students and/or fellow students

- a grade is given by at least one member of the jury and the supervisor for the presentation and discussion at the end of the internship

Partial grade less than or equal to 9/20 => the presentation has to be retaken in the second sitting for the jury

3/ assessment portfolio

Partial grade less than or equal to 9/20 => a new portfolio is requiered.

A partial result less than or equal to 9/20 for one of the components automatically leads to a fail for the course 'Professional internship' (the final mark is then the lowest partial result). A partial credit for internship communication and/or portfolio can only be transferred to the next academic year if the student has passed the actual internship (in this case, the partial credit from the actual internship is also transferred to the next academic year).

A detailed overview of the evaluation procedure can be found in the internship regulations, which can be found on the learning platform (Canvas).
