Course Content

This module aims to teach the students a basic knowledge of computational linguistics. The basic knowledge about computational linguistics that the module aims to teach is the following: first of all, the techniques used, such as formal grammar models, stochastic models and neural network models. Secondly, how these are applied: on the one hand in practical systems for natural language processing and on the other hand in computational linguistic models meant to understand how human language works.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Oral Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Examen mondelin with a relative weight of 1 which comprises 100% of the final mark.
